Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiology to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Ruidoso, NM. Practice Highlights

  • Supports inpatient, diagnostic testing and clinic services, as required
  • Works in concert with the cardiologist in completing consultations, rounding, and managing patient care in the clinic and in the hospital
  • Assist with practice call as needed
  • Completes all patient care tasks assigned and ensures appropriate hand-off before ending shift
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills with patients, families, healthcare providers and staff
  • Performs other functions as required

 

What We’re Seeking:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with training in cardiology preferred
  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to increase knowledge
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico

Qualifications

Credentials Required

Nurse Practitioner - Masters degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, ANCC or AANP certification required. Minimum of two years experience preferred but not required.


Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required. Minimum of two years experience preferred but not required.
